The Connecticut Starters Spring Classic is a great way for AAU basketball teams to prepare for their state AAU tournaments...It is open to all clubs that are members of their local AAU Associations...You make the call on which level of play best suits your team...Any questions, email us at ctstarters@aol.com.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Dear AAU Coaches, Players and Parents
Please make copies of schedules, directions and game rules for your teams. If you notice any mistakes in the schedule please email us ctstarters@aol.com ASAP. If your club has multiple teams entered, please make sure you are looking at the correct schedule for your particular team as some age groups have been combined.
As we prepare to host many teams in the CONNECTICUT STARTERS SPRING CLASSIC April 2-3 in the Greater Hartford area, please note:

***High school federation rules will be in effect with the following differences:

4 full time-outs per team
16-minute halves
2-shot bonus in effect on the 10th team foul of each half (no 1-and-1 on the 7th)
5-minute half-time/5-minute pre-game warmup.
coaches can call time-outs
rebounders must wait until the ball hits the rim on foul shots
games can start early per decision of site director.
OVERTIME RULES: time-outs can't be carried over from regulation into overtime..2-minute OT, followed by 1-minute OT if still tied; if game is tied after 2 OT's "Sudden Death" will apply with first team to score a point winning the game..1 time-out per team total for any and all OT's

10-under through 17-under divisions
Note: If a majority of your team is in a lower age group, you can 'play down' in that age group.

Cost: $450 per team (non-refundable after March 23^rd)
